Weston Brass at Bath Parade Gardens

What a lovely setting for our first outdoor concert of 2019. We started the concert in glorious sunshine with a fabulous piece of music – Atlantic Fanfare arranged by our very own John Bryant. We continued with crowd pleasing music selected by our conductor Carl Whiteoak including Oblivion a beautiful Euphonium Solo played exquisitely by Greg Lovell. It was a shame that the weather didn’t hold up for the second half when it turned cold, windy and rained. This didn’t dampen our spirits the band played on, thank you to all who braved the weather and continued listening from under umbrellas and trees.

This was also the first outing for our brand new set of Hercules music stands which the band purchased recently, we have to say they met our expectations and held up in the wind brilliantly.

Please see our events page for information about more concerts to come this year. Our next performance will be at Weston Air Days from 3pm, where we will look forward to entertaining you again.
