Wow!  How lucky were we with the weather on our first two park bandstand concerts this year?  The third of June saw our first outside performance of the season in the very popular Vivary Park in Taunton, and on the 10th we were on home ground in Grove Park, Weston super Mare.  On both occasions the weather was absolutely amazing, with large crowds sat in their deck chairs listening to us and enjoying the rare blue sky and sunshine.  Hopefully the rest of our summer programme will be blessed with the same conditions.  If anyone who was there took photographs of the band, we would love to see them!

Next up for us will be two performances at the ‘Weston Air Days and Armed Forces Weekend’.  Saturday 23rd June will see us give a short concert in the Town Square (formerly known as the Italian Gardens) from 10.15am to 11am, and then a concert in the arena on the Beach Lawns on Sunday 24th June from 2pm to 3pm, after which we will be providing the music for the Drumhead Service at 3.30pm.  It will be fabulous to see you there!
